Problem with that is it needs to be some wealthy Mizzou fan because the vast majority of the people in those cities, with money, are going to contract with Mahomes, Kelce, Arenado, Goldschmidt, etc., to promote to a much bigger demographic of fans/customers. They aren’t going to donate a bunch of money so every marginal starter and benchwarmer at Mizzou can get $50 grand like at Okie where Boomer is their de facto pro team in a fairly good size city and a state fairly far from most pro sports. Apologies to late blooming Thunder fans.
