A big reason why college football is so popular is because it is NOT the NFL. Anyone who thinks this won't cause massive destruction to the sport is crazy. All of the money comes from us, fans and boosters. If you want to play professional football go play professional football. Good luck. Enjoy watching 20 college teams full of Antonio Browns every Saturday. I'll drive 30 minutes north to watch Lindenwood play DII for $5 per ticket. It's easy and fun. There are other options for our entertainment dollars if they really want to be treated like professionals.
