I wish they would just start treating the Players like MLB treats their Minor league players....pay their own insurance, club house dues, all expenses even room/Board and tuition.

Pay them like Double A players couple a grand a month(MLB.com says for most around 1,100 a month)....no big signing bonus for most let them sign a agent and let him take off the top for any likeness deals etc Make them pay a percentage of their NFL salary back to the college so the universities can recoup cost of giving them the chance to make it to the NFL.

And of course do away with Recruiting....Bring on a College Draft for the P5/G5 Simple as that if you pay players and allow them the perks of semi-Pro's likeness endorsements then let's darn well treat them like the disposable commodities they are.

Treat them like the non-student athletes they are aka Mercenaries.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
