have all kinds of data showing that online did not work for the vast majority.
Private schools are great as long as they get to decide who attends. Students with acedemic, emotional or behavioral issues are too hard and too expensive so private schools have always said no thanks to them. If private schools had to work under the restrictions as public schools you would see their results slide very quickly.
That is why the "send them all to private schools" will never work. 80-90% of the students can be taught very easily and very cheaply. They other 10-20% is where the challenge lies.
