the last quarter when the lockdowns first started I was in my classroom every single day, with students.
My job was much harder because I was expected to teach half of my students in person every day and also have congruent lessons for the half that were virtual.
The unions and huge urban districts made headlines with their stupidity. But there were millions of teachers across the nation busting our balls trying to educate kids in circumstances that we knew were suboptimal. We went into work every day during the lockdowns and followed rules that made no sense because that is what was demanded of us.
