Hiring Qdog was the true beginning of the end of pride in MU hoops. What a ****show era. ku helped push MU to want to be good in hoops too. losing ku football was largely inconsequential but there is no replacement for ku v MU in hoops or conf tourney in KC. Illinois is the #1 event now, followed by Arky games. After that, it’s a pretty meh slate. I’d play SLU and Missouri St. just to provide some instate hatred and get people’s blood pumping again in this State. ku series will be good if it becomes a fixture and not some rando event.
