The longer he went the more individual his teams became. The numbers you listed show how that works out. It got progressively worse. He was extremely fortunate that he inherited that first group who had a chip on their shoulder and was out to prove something and willing to do what it took. After that it became more about Me than We. He was again fortune to have some NBA level players who could get theirs but he couldn't coach them to be a team and do whatever it took to win.
