Haith left. We had a top 15 recruiting class on the way, and coaches like Ben Howland were begging for the job (he admitted publicly he was hoping he would be "offered the Missouri or Tennessee job").

The ONLY thing that led to Kim Anderson was pressure from the blue-haired donor class, which Alden ultimately caved to.
