coach. If all he did was negotiate for his pay and did not push for assistants and budget that tells you a lot about his ultimate goal.

Did he care to build a quality program or was he content to cash his paychecks and build his personal wealth?

On a side note that should have been a huge red flag when Sterk was hiring him. If all he was negotiating for was himself and he never asked for competitive coaching salaries and basketball budgets that should have been a hint as to his mindset about the program.
