As I've posted in the past, at one point Quin was the 7th highest paid coach in the nation. We beat out all other suitors for his services because we cared a great deal about men's basketball.

Also until Mike Anderson left for Arkansas the prior MU basketball coach to leave for a different head coaching job was Craig Ruby to Illinois in 1923. Just didn't used to happen. Now we lose coaches to Tulsa.
