is why it was a unique opportunity to hire a quality candidate like Musselman, who definitely would have taken the $21M contract we offered Cuonzo.

But as others have pointed out, Cuonzo was Sterk's #1 choice, and unfortunately the BoC didn't intervene like they did in FB.

And Cuonzo was happy to leave his P5 job in Cali for the attractive situation he was being offered (low expectations, iron-clad contract that nearly doubled his salary, and #1 MPJ and 5-star brother helping him jump-start the program).
