Mizzou is not in the business of assisting the athletic departments of other in-state programs. Why would anyone go on the road to play a team from a lesser level. B
? Would you like us to come for a preseason scrimmage like we did for Missouri Southern after the tornado? Try to help raise funds for a struggling program? Not sure what your hardship is but it looks like you're wanting a handout.

SLU, SEMO, SMS & the like are welcome to schedule a game in COMO. To expect a straight up home & home is foolish & not knowing who you are nor understanding your place in the overall system. I'm sorry if that comes off as harsh but again, Mizzou is all about what's helps us; you all don't even register in our thought process. That's not intended to be insensitive. It's simply the way things are for the State's Flagship & Power Conference member. For programs like that, there is no benefit to such a game. SLU is not a Northwestern...they are a conference mate of Illinois. SLU is neither a power conference member nor a conference mate of Mizzou. Using them as an example is flawed.
