And had a D-2 track record. No one took him seriously.

No one should have ever seriously believed had a chance to do anything positive with the program.

Oh, and as far as him being a classy guy - everyone gave him a pass when he blamed kids who transferred out for his program being so bad, then proceeded to win FEWER games.

I was disappointed to read that Jim Sterk offered him a chance to stick around in the athletic department. We needed a clean break from the complete failure that was his tenure.
