I've met billiken_roy; he's a good guy, but he's very fanatical about the Billikens and loathes everything about Mizzou: just in principle. I don't agree with everything in his take — which was posted in this thread's original post — but I hesitate to respond to it. I get labeled as soft on Mizzou over there, and they want me to despise Mizzou, particularly with my being a moderator there. I get enough guff here.

I know most of you probably don't consider me to be a Mizzou fan. Whatever. I follow and root for the team on the court, but I don't necessarily like the attitude among many Mizzou fans. Plus, I hate the format of this forum. Therefore, I don't read this forum or post in it that much. As a result, it's hard for me to know as much as you do who here is a genuine fan and who's an imposter. Absent being in the loop, what's wrong with responding to the text as it is written? How am I to know that those "bubbleheads" aren't really Mizzou fans but you just disagree with them?
