Some SLU fans are green with envy (with respect to media attention and respect from the media and "casual" basketball observers) and feel compelled to impugn Coach Martin and the Missouri program at every turn, regardless of any evidence or lack thereof.

Just as some of you will always accuse Kansas of cheating, even if they weren't (yes, I'll acknowledge they probably are), there are some SLU fans that will insist that Mizzou is dirty no matter what. I have tried to convince them that their reasoning is fallacious with regard to Martin, but it's only to my detriment, especially considering that I'm a moderator there and they feel that means I should be joining in with them to bash against Mizzou regardless of my perceptions of the truth.

Lastly, I disagree with you regarding Mizzou's comporting itself as a D-1 program. It hasn't stopped, but Kim Anderson was just in over his head.
