I'm not one who feels that way — I really don't want to see the teams play one another because I root for both — but they could lose any perceived prestige they may have among potential elite St. Louis-area recruits. They also run the risk of losing homecourt advantage in their own building.

SLU doesn't "duck" Missouri State. They've played each other numerous time in reciprocal home series. There's been talk of resuming that series, though Majerus cut it off because of some gaming Missouri State was trying to do with the scheduling several years back.
