I don't think that alone would work.

There aren't many peer caliber non-conference games and those are skewed towards the early part of the season, which would be somewhat akin to pre-season in the NFL.

Computer models are a little sketchy in their own ways and having a small dataset to work with makes them even sketchier.

More high caliber non-con games would be needed for them to be sufficiently(?) accurate.
