the luck metric measures how far off is his algorithm’s prediction from the actual result. That’s all it measures.

The fact that Pomeroy called it “luck” is just a distraction. “If my algorithm is wrong, it’s just because of fate. Not a flaw in my algorithm.”

It doesn’t measure luck. It doesn’t measure coaching.
