We at least have more information to determine who to protect....better testing to keep things under control, and slowly getting better treatments.....Once you get some sort of herd immunity, that will help as well.

The more spread out it gets, the more protected the vulnerable become.

Rough cowboy math...330 million, 15% infected, ..4% mortality...says about 200K...over who knows what type of timeframe.
