the fatality rate amongst the older is quite clear..and quite high. ..which is another thing puzzling about California..why was this not seen...In Minnesota most of the outbreaks and almost all of the deaths have been tied to nursing homes...so while severity rates of the "healthy population" might be flu like (with the exception there is no vaccine and no casual protection), it is still a danger from an overall health standpoint.
