I don't reject the scriptures, I contextualize them

and don't take them literally let alone use them as a weapon to judge other people who don't adhere to my interpretation of the scriptures.

The Evangelical Christian right opposed racial integration. They opposed the abolition of slavery. They have weaponized Christ which reflects their disconnection from spirit and from the essence of Christ's love.

Scriptures have value but they're not a person's personal relationship with Christ.
