separate thing than claiming that one can reject what the
Sacred Scriptures and the Church founded by Christ teach, because one knows what 'Christ's love' requires better than they do.

Abraham would never have claimed such a thing. Indeed, Abraham would not have understood what one was talking about if they spoke of Jesus Christ, or of the Messiah.
