Why would I imply something I don't believe? And you refuse to separate NIL and transfer portal. This has been a discussion of NIL.

As for the two years you're referring to, there has not been an upset season like 2007 in college football since and likely never before. That was a crazy combination of events to even get MU close to playing for a national title. Even with all that craziness, we didn't even make a BCS Bowl game. So, how close were we really?

In 2013 we had a good team, with a very favorable schedule. We still got waxed in the SEC Title game. Again, how close were we, really?

I think we can get lucky and get that close again. We're not winning the national title unless some very wealthy donor wants to pony up a ton of money to buy some huge players. So, like I said, more of the same for MU.
