maybe they think they don’t need a critical mass of fans anymore. I do believe people like Fowler and Herbstreit are unknowing pawns in their role of pushing this stuff because they were obsessed with some this stuff 20 years ago. But you probably are not far off. The agenda is likely different for the others pushing it and they could not care less about parity or the sport or really the players
