But you were comparing that to players sharing revenue. That is not imperative. As long as my league is successful and keeps my games on TV and my name in the media how the other players in my league are doing has no impact on me.

Are you suggesting that Patrick Mahomes should have the same contract as the other 54 players on the team? If not then why would Trevor Lawrence share his money with the third string left guard from Arkansas State?
