Yes NCAA rules are ridiculous but every one of them is a reaction to some school attempting to gain a competitive advantage.

If kids are allowed to make money off of their images what is to stop Bama boosters from setting up autograph seasons where players are paid thousands for those images. Will every other program be able to match that? If not then what happens to the little parity that is actually left in the NCAA?
