in college sports. While I enjoy college athletics and my money has made its way into this system frequently, colleges should not, ideally, be a the entertainment industry they have become.

Maybe eventually when we have students racking up 6 figured debts sitting next to multimillionaires in classrooms we can get back to investing in education and let the NFL, NBA etc take care of their own minor leagues. Maybe I'm delusional but I think it has gone far enough that perhaps the only way to fix it is to open it up and let the absurdity bring about change.
