a pg. People interpreted it at the time as Quin being a bad coach but the reality is that a good point guard can make a coach look pretty smart and not having one can make a coach look pretty inept.

For Cuonzo to look at the raw materials he had at his disposal and initially conclude Robertson should be the pg, and then when that didn't work conclude that Geist should be the pg was the a curious development last year. To go into this offseason and not really address that is even more concerning.

I hope we aren't looking back several years into his tenure and expressing some of the same frustrations we had with Quin that he simply didn't address the pg position. Because in all other capacities he has been excellent.
