We haven't had experienced upperclassmen since Haith's first year. Hiring Martin was mainly about building the St. Louis/Metro East pipeline and building a program at Mizzou.

Getting MPJ and Jontay took what would have been another sub .500 team to a tournament team. While we will be down next year it's not like the SEC will be world beaters next year. We should make the NIT and if a few things go our way could even sneak back into the tournament.

If Tilmon sticks around for a 3rd year the 19-20 team should be a solid tournament team. If Tilmon doesn't stay for a 3rd year it means he was a beast next year making next year better than expected.
