for linking that here.
I wouldn't doubt one bit that Rhoades bungling of softball and his failure to dump Coach EE was a big reason or at least the final nail in the coffin for him to slink on down to Baylor.
I'm glad I backed EE on all this. I truly believed Mack was making a huge mistake, that he had let it get personal and that he became a raging cancer on our athletic department and programs. I'm so glad he's gone and Coach EE is still here.
I went to the games Friday night. They might be the only Fall games I can make this year but I'm going to hope I can come to Columbia to see the double header the night before Homecoming.
We left almost midway into the second game. Did anyone see if Baumgartner ever pitched in that one? I was really hoping to see her throw but I guess it wasn't necessary. I too thought that Baxter looked improved. I'm worried about this coming season. Not that we'll be bad but we might struggle with all the new people we'll have to lean on in pitching and in the lineup. We lost some major talent with Crane, Fagan and Gadbois leaving but it was nice to see Fagan in the dugout sticking around to help the younger girls on the team.
