numbers before I even started posting about it.
They post the official attendance for every game, every season on wikipedia. Plus I've been seeing how it works for basketball and first hand for football going back years through our recent history of alternating success.
The one time where it really seems to be an anomaly is right after we joined the SEC where the excitement was peaking.
Do you think Georgia sent back all those thousands of tickets because of the protest? No, not at all.
I'm not saying that some people didn't jump ship over the protests but I am saying that's not the big part of what's happening here. What's happening here is normal with our fan base and our situation and has been for a long time. The patterns are there to see.
We just came off a 5 win season with an awful offense that most fans thought would continue into this year. Many people think we were on the precipice of a new long lasting abyss. Pinkel just stepped down and we have almost a totally new coaching staff. TSF changed things us. We've been struggling to keep students at the games in both basketball and football.
The only place I see anyone whining and carrying on about the protest as it relates to the actual football program is right here and they don't shut up about it either. They are a tiny loud minority and its so ironic exactly another loud mouthed tiny group that only wants to stir up the garbage.
