I don't think its anger re the protests last year

I was angry at the time, but now its turned to more of a general indifference. These players are not people I can identify with. I used to actually know students on the football team back when I went to Mizzou. Now its a minor league franchise with recruits brought in from who-knows-where. There's not even the pretense that they're student athletes anymore.

The protests just unmasked what has been going on for the past 20-30 years. I ignored it before, and pretended like they were Missouri kids, but now its impossible to ignore. Its a huge fraud - they have purchased the right to use the University of Missouri as a logo, and are otherwise a minor league sports franchise. I realize there are some exceptions, and I do support the Missouri kids who play here.
