and it pains you to no end that tens of thousands of fans as well as the football program is ready to put that in the past and focus on the fun and excitement of a new year.

You just can't put it behind you. That's all well and good but your personal war is falling into history. Not enough care about it anymore and it burns you to no end. You've invested so hard in that anger and its all going to be for not.

In the meantime, you've let yourself miss out on a new growing experience with a new year, new staff and new team.

That must suck not being able to let it go, but I bet its also tantalizing.

Too bad for you, no matter how hard you and the others try, this is going to go away and it might be much sooner than later.
