at least to me. i don't think it should be. education is hugely important to any society.

it's not about the 'why should i have to pay, and Jimmy doesn't' -- that's such a view of 'me' and not 'us'

but if you can afford to pay for college (which is should be MUCH cheaper IMO), you should. if you can afford food, you should buy it. if you can't, i'd be more than happy to kick in a few bucks so that your family can eat tonight.
