so why is college so expensive?

You will say funding cut by states? That doesn't come close to explaining the run away cost by the way?

Why should succesful parents have to pay for college. The kids are on their own. What if a parent makes 150K a year and lives in CA. That is not rich. What if they are daring for a parent in long term care?

Free for one, free for all, otherwise you are simply discriminating
