The bottom line is that there is nothing inherent in the US that prevents us from manufacturing as well as or as inexpensively as anywhere else in the world... other than perhaps a healthy aversion to slave labor & also to poisoning our environment.

Perhaps we need to work on our labor laws and tax laws, but there is no reason for us to cower from rolling up our sleeves and doing what needs to be done in that regard.
