I think heavy manufacturing items can come back

the labor costs in those items will be offset by higher transport costs.

Same for security items (chips, computers, controls, etc), this must comeback for security of US interests.

Those "throwaway items" cloths, shoes, toys, small tools...you know the crap you see on TEMU...will never come back and dosen't need to.

Only about 10% of our food is imported and most that is fruits and veggies from S. America & Mexico, stuff Comifornia produced by bringing in cheap labor from S. America & Mexico. So let those items stay as imports. It only takes a season to ramp up US production of these items if needed.

Bring back heavy manufacture & security items and we will have a labor shortage bigger than the one we have now. It is a must that trade schools are invested in and funded.
