If you think the news outlets are bad actor in this situation.

Let them air the grievances and shoot them down one by one. That's how Middleton and Henson handled it, that's how Choi handled it with the Jefferson dustup. Listened to the protesters and told them they were wrong and here's why.

Ignoring the protests was the failure of leadership on Wolfe & Loftin's part. The thought that it would just go away was unfounded.
