to a cap on spending and not have the highest coaches salaries, most expensive facilities etc. And where is that extra money coming from? Ticket sales, licensing and boosters-revenue that isn't shared and isn't equal in any way.
Second, my issue is just the wrong use of the term 'fair market value'. If the NCAA is trying to determine what that is confined to metrics that suits them, it isn't actually 'fair market value'. The fact that actual 'fair market value' is bad for competition, the NCAA or anything else is irrelevant.
