We saw that in 2007 and 2013.

K-State saw that during the Bill Snyder era.

It's not often, but the possibility of it is what keeps fans engaged and interested.

You're making the tired "it's already unfair so who cares if it gets worse" argument, which is nonsense. In fact, it's even more reason why we need to preserve the razor-thin parity that still remains. There's no margin for things to get worse at this point, without ruining the game completely.

I think the argument stems from wishful thinking, because it's certainly not based in rational thinking or reality.
