I wonder why it would be a Mizzou problem? What's endemic to the university that would turn off St Louis HS players?
I would expect that might be the case in KC which where competition with KU is significant and joining the SEC has lessened the university's signature in the city. Yet Mizzou does a better job of recruiting there.
