If CM wanted to be the "last team standing" he would actually put some effort into recruiting.
If CM wanted to be here, he wouldn't be pressuring the AD for raise+extension amidst a pandemic and budget shortfall. He didn't even want his own son to attend the university.
And last but not least, he's not "building a program". After this slightly above-average season which keeps getting worse, the cupboard will be empty due to his abysmal recruiting for the past two and a half years. We'll be back at square one next year - it will be 2017, without the Porters.
