If this was two months ago, I'm betting his crew doesn't think a thing of it and ignore it. But he was very outspoken about the confederate flag and Black Lives Matter in the last couple of weeks. His stances rubbed some Nascar fans the wrong way for sure. If I'm in his crew and I come into his stall and see a noose sitting on his tool bench or wherever it was, I'd probably do the same thing and take it to Nascar.

I don't know how anyone can jump to the conclusion that it was a hoax or anything malicious. It was an honest mistake given the known circumstances.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
