did not change the rule but they uniformly decided to anything that was not pure hand on top for about 2 years there.

The rulebook says “ not all contact is a foul”. But we have also had an era where an edict said if somebody falls down there has to be a foul. We saw a remnant of that last night. The Miss player stepped on our guys foot and fell down. It should have been a travel, but we were called for a foul. Why was it called a foul? Was it because the ref simply messed up? Possibly. . Why did he mess up? Probably because the edict of if somebody falls down it must be a foul still resonates
