game contrary to how a rule is written. That's complete and utter BS. Or maybe that's the case in grade school basketball where you used to ref.

Are some rules misapplied from how they're written, sure. But the NCAA is not instructing refs to call a game differently than the way the rule is written.

The Title IX comparison is not even close to applicable to this conversation.
