any more than the flu is....

The condition is HEALED and no longer creates a risk of recurrence.

Even cancer is not always lifetime pre-existing condition after it has been treated and you are deemed 'cancer free' by your physician, you no longer have a 'pre-existing condition'..

I have a golf buddy who had thyroid cancer. After treatment he was declared cancer free and can get both life and health insurance without a 'pre-existing condition' rider
