the injured party in the car wreck would have a preexisting condition and be denied coverage for the rest of their life, since it would make no financial sense to collect $5K in premiums and pay $500K in medical bills. Even with an expanded premium, it seems unlikely that it would make sense to insure them.

What should the approach be to this individual?
