it came down. Spent days in East Berlin.
Had friends full of dumb, young pizz & vinegar lay an East German flag just on the West of the demarcated Checkpoint Charlie line & stomp on it with East German soldier with their machine guns pointing watching them. US, French & British soldier came running & grabbed their stuoid asses - we didn't see them for awhile.
One of the things the US, etc soldiers stressed to them was how they had to be there with those East German cohorts day after day trying to keep the peace & no punk ass stunt like that was going to F*ck it up!
That was my point! Given successful attempts of escape or penetration of that highly secure wall/border & there were some incredibly creative ways it was achieved, I readily admit a wall on the Southern Border would be breached by some small % of humans too.
