was in your opinion dumb. Fair enough. I also shared my opinion that your assertion (that I had said or implied that tariffs = regulation) was false and therefore your conclusion based upon that incorrect assertion was itself not very well thought out.

Your #2 statement in the post I am replying to here also seems disconnected from reality.

2. You're deflecting and a dishonest poster

I disagree with both assertions and challenge you to explain your reasoning for both.

1. In what way am I deflecting? I attempted to answer you honestly and directly.

1b. The deflecting charge is perhaps a little ironic, given that you ignored or refused to answer my question to you in the post which you replied to:

I'm not quite sure how you came to the conclusion that I was saying that tariffs are government regulation.

Maybe you could flesh out your reasoning behind that conclusion for me?
