My parents got the 2-fer special with me and my brother back when taking them out was routine.

Since I was 4 years older, it hit me like a ton of bricks. My little brother woke up screaming "Ice cream!!! They promised us ice cream!!!! Where is my ice cream?"

My daughter kept having tonsil stones and had her tonsils taken out right after college. The older you are, the harder the recovery.
